Susan Liebesman, the director of the 2021 Mrs. & Miss Pennsylvania for America and Mrs. & Miss Delaware for America put on an extraordinary show that was flawlessly executed and exciting to watch. The lingering impressions from the memories helped inspired me to start my own pageant journey.

The director Susan Elder Liebesman of 2021 and 2022 is very active. She does not take sides or push her personal agenda. She is very inclusive and nonjudgmental. Her America and American winners are treated and posted and loved all the same. Even when she has a long history with a contestant in the modeling world that wins and works with her, she does not favor that contestant over her other winners. I have not had a director this active in this system and I have competed for three years straight in the Miss then Mrs divisions. This system celebrates you and your platform. Everyone believes you can win and they do not shame you for your size. They don’t speak poorly behind your back or degrade you. They understand the differences between us all and that all personalities are different. As for organization, things were very organized when it comes to paperwork and structure. On the day of the state pageant, there were not enough sarongs that fit me but one contestant let me use hers right after she got off stage. Another mailed my awards that I left there.
